- -Established in 1973 in Brooklyn, New York by Stanley B. Lewis after he gained experience in the field during the 1950s and 1960s with a local company, Stanley Lewis Plumbing & Heating Corporation grew from a humble service provider into an organization providing ever-expanding services to meet the needs of the 21st century client. Stanley B. Lewis became one of the first African Americans to obtain a New York City Master Plumber's License, joined the Kings County Master Plumbers Association in 1975, and served as its president from 1982 to 1984. He is a member of the Master Plumbers Council of the City of New York, where he was named Director from 1996 to 1997 and again from 1999 to 2001 and also served as treasurer for several years.
