How we handle data

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Servhom collects, why it is collected, and how it is used to improve homeowner decisions and business discovery.

We Do Not Sell Your Information to Providers

We do not sell your contact details, and we do not hand them out to a list of service providers. When you find a pro on Servhom, you reach out to them directly, on your terms. You will not get a wall of calls from companies you never chose just because you searched once.

When you ask us to get quotes on your behalf, we collect the contact details you provide and use them only to pass your request along. Providers reply back through Servhom, and we do not give them your phone number or email without your say-so. Your details stay yours.

Information We Collect

  • Basic usage analytics such as page views, searches, clicks, referrers, device type, and approximate location when available.
  • Business listing information such as business name, address, phone, website, service category, license signals, and profile details.
  • Account information when you sign in, such as your email address, plus the providers you save to your shortlist.
  • Contact information you choose to submit, such as name, email, phone number, or business claim details.
  • Quote request information you choose to submit, such as the job details, location, and the providers you ask us to contact for you.
  • Price contribution information you choose to submit, such as service, job type, city, month, quote or paid amount, urgency, and optional context notes.

How We Use Information

  • To operate search, listing, claim, fair-price, accounts, and contact features.
  • To contact providers on your behalf when you request quotes, and to relay their replies back to you without exposing your contact details.
  • To improve page quality, profile readiness, and local service coverage.
  • To detect spam, bots, duplicate submissions, and abuse.
  • To create aggregated, privacy-conscious engagement reports for businesses when there is enough credible activity.

Privacy Protections

  • Precise IP addresses are not meant to be shown publicly; analytics use hashed or minimized forms where practical.
  • Approximate location is used for market and service-area context, not precise tracking of individuals.
  • Personal contact details submitted through forms are not displayed publicly without permission.

Your Choices

You can contact hello@servhom.com to ask about corrections, deletion requests, or questions about information you submitted. Some records may be retained when needed for security, compliance, fraud prevention, or audit history.
